Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern every booking made with BAYY LOUNGE. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by everything below.

1. Booking Agreement

By making a booking, the customer confirms that they:

  • Are at least 18 years old, or are accompanied by a responsible adult.
  • Agree to all BAYY LOUNGE Terms & Conditions.
  • Accept responsibility for themselves and every guest attending their booking.
  • Agree to use the studio respectfully and responsibly.
  • Understand that failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in additional charges or future bookings being refused.

2. Payment Policy

  • Full payment is required to secure every booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • A booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.
  • Additional services requested during or after the booking may incur additional charges.
  • BAYY LOUNGE reserves the right to refuse bookings where payment has not been received.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a full automatic refund.
  • Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled booking time are non-refundable.
  • Refunds will be returned to the original payment method through Stripe.
  • BAYY LOUNGE reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund or alternative booking date will be offered.

4. Late Arrivals

  • Your booking begins and ends at the time you selected.
  • Late arrivals do not extend your booking.
  • Sessions will finish at the original end time.
  • Extra studio time may be available subject to availability and additional payment.

5. Overtime

If your session overruns without prior agreement:

  • Additional studio time will be charged at the current hourly rate.
  • Overtime is only possible where no booking follows yours.

6. Studio Equipment & Property Damage

Customers are fully responsible for any damage caused by themselves or anyone included in their booking. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Studio monitors
  • Microphones
  • Headphones
  • Audio interfaces
  • Recording equipment
  • Pioneer CDJ-3000 players
  • Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer
  • Studio furniture
  • PlayStation 5
  • Television
  • Lighting
  • Computers
  • Smart devices
  • Doors, windows & walls
  • Flooring & decorations
  • Kitchen facilities
  • Toilets
  • Any other BAYY LOUNGE property

If equipment or property is damaged due to negligence, misuse or intentional behaviour, the customer agrees to pay the full repair or replacement cost. Where repairs are not possible, replacement costs will be charged. BAYY LOUNGE reserves the right to recover these costs through legal means where necessary.

7. Cleaning Policy

Customers must leave the studio in a clean and tidy condition. Please:

  • Dispose of all rubbish.
  • Clean up food and drink spillages.
  • Return furniture to its original position.
  • Leave all equipment as found.
  • Remove all personal belongings before leaving.
If excessive cleaning is required after your booking, a fixed £60 Cleaning Fee will be charged.

Examples include:

  • Excessive rubbish
  • Food left behind
  • Drink spillages
  • Sticky floors
  • Dirty furniture
  • Decorations left behind
  • Glitter or confetti
  • Vomit or bodily fluids
  • Smoking residue
  • Any condition requiring professional cleaning

8. Drinks & Snacks

BAYY LOUNGE has a selection of drinks and snacks available for customers to purchase during their booking. Customers are welcome to help themselves but must honestly declare everything they have taken before leaving.

Customers can either:

  • Inform BAYY LOUNGE staff of everything consumed before leaving; or
  • Declare the items through their customer account (if available), after which an invoice will be sent.

Payment for refreshments must be made within 7 days unless paid immediately.

Failure to declare refreshments taken may result in:

  • An invoice being issued.
  • Suspension of future bookings.
  • Recovery of outstanding payments.
  • Refusal of future bookings.

BAYY LOUNGE reserves the right to verify refreshments taken through stock checks and CCTV covering communal areas.

9. Food & Alcohol

Food and drinks are permitted unless otherwise stated. Customers are responsible for:

  • Cleaning up after themselves.
  • Preventing spillages near studio equipment.
  • Ensuring no damage occurs.

Alcohol is permitted only if consumed responsibly.

Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.

10. Smoking & Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the building.

If customers wish to smoke or vape during their booking, they must use the designated exit. Please use the fire exit located next to the main studio entrance and smoke outside the building only.

Customers must:

  • Dispose of cigarette ends responsibly.
  • Respect neighbouring businesses and residents.
  • Avoid blocking entrances or walkways.
  • Re-enter the building quietly.

Smoking or vaping anywhere inside the premises may result in:

  • Immediate termination of the booking.
  • Loss of booking without refund.
  • Additional cleaning charges if smoke residue or odours require professional cleaning.

11. Behaviour Policy

Customers must behave respectfully at all times. The following will not be tolerated:

  • Violence
  • Threatening behaviour
  • Abuse
  • Harassment
  • Criminal damage
  • Illegal activity
  • Excessive intoxication

BAYY LOUNGE reserves the right to immediately end any booking without refund if behaviour becomes unacceptable.

12. Maximum Occupancy

Customers must not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed for the booked service. Additional guests may incur additional charges or be refused entry.

13. Security & CCTV

For the safety of customers and the protection of studio equipment, CCTV may operate within communal areas of the premises. No CCTV is installed inside recording booths or private recording spaces.

Footage may be used for:

  • Security
  • Crime prevention
  • Theft investigations
  • Damage investigations

14. Personal Property

Customers bring personal belongings entirely at their own risk. BAYY LOUNGE accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.

15. Respect for Neighbours

Please be respectful when arriving and leaving. Avoid excessive noise outside the building and be considerate of neighbouring businesses and residents.

16. Access Codes

Temporary access codes are issued only for confirmed bookings. Customers must never:

  • Share access codes.
  • Allow unauthorised people into the building.
  • Attempt to access the studio outside their booking time.

Sharing access codes may result in future bookings being refused.

17. Recording Responsibility

Customers are responsible for saving and backing up all recordings before leaving. BAYY LOUNGE cannot guarantee recovery of lost or deleted files after the session has ended.

18. Internet Usage

Studio Wi-Fi must not be used for:

  • Illegal downloading
  • Copyright infringement
  • Fraud
  • Hacking
  • Any unlawful activity

19. Force Majeure

BAYY LOUNGE is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including power failures, internet outages, severe weather, emergencies or government restrictions.

20. Right to Refuse Service

BAYY LOUNGE reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where these Terms & Conditions have been breached.

21. Agreement

Before completing payment, every customer must tick a mandatory checkbox confirming:

“I have read, understood and agree to the BAYY LOUNGE Terms & Conditions.”

Bookings cannot be completed unless this box is ticked.
