2. Cookies We Use
BAYY LOUNGE only uses strictly-necessary functional cookies that are essential for the website to work. Under UK law and the ICO's guidance these do not require your consent — but we still want to be transparent about them:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| customer_token | Keeps you signed in to your customer account. Contains a signed JWT — no personal data. | Up to 30 days |
| admin_token | Keeps studio owners signed in to the admin dashboard. Set only for admin users. | Session / up to 7 days |
| Stripe cookies | Set by Stripe during checkout & identity verification for fraud prevention and payment processing. | Set by Stripe |
3. No Advertising or Tracking
We do not use any of the following:
- Advertising cookies
- Cross-site tracking pixels
- Third-party analytics (e.g. Google Analytics)
- Behavioural profiling
- Social-media re-marketing tags
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you make a payment, part of the checkout is served by Stripe on js.stripe.com. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud detection and to keep your checkout session working. See Stripe's cookie settings.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies during the OAuth flow. See Google's cookie policy.
5. How to Manage Cookies
You can control cookies directly in your browser. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies (such as customer_token) will sign you out and prevent bookings from working.
